Aylin, a workaholic detective, is a lonely woman who lost custody of her daughter to her ex-husband. Aylin, who has various problems she can’t control, is a good liar herself, and her greatest talent is her ability to instantly recognize those who lie to her.
ŞEHRAZAD KIZILTAN
Şehrazad, a kindergarten teacher, has overcome the traumas of her childhood too late and will do anything to prevent what happened to her from happening to other children. She commits her first murder against the parents of one of her students and soon turns into a wolf who writes her own fairy tale.
ÇETİN PEKER
Assigned to work on the Bad Wolf case with Aylin, Çetin has a laxity that allows him to bend the rules when necessary and a love for his profession. Sometimes dispensing justice with his own hands, our character will learn a very important lesson from the Bad Wolf in his relationship with his own son.
FAHRETTİN ÇELEBİ
Fahrettin, the Chief of the Homicide Bureau, is a well-respected police commissioner who is about to retire. Fahrettin’s greatest fear is that his “honor” will be jeopardized, despite the fact that he believes his career will end on a high note once the Bad Wolf murders are solved.
1×01 – THE BIG BAD WOLF
The body of an elderly man found with stones stuffed in his stomach will be the beginning of a bloody case undertaken by two detectives. Meanwhile Şehrazad, a class teacher at a private kindergarten, is preparing for the end-of-year show with her students.
1×02 – BLOODY RIDING HOOD
After the murder of the parent of one of Şehrazad’s students, Aylin meets her and realizes that this woman does not condemn the murders. Çetin realizes that a piece of evidence found at the crime scene was part of the play he had attended the day before.
1×03 – MS. WHITE
When 7 men are found dead in the same house, the Bad Wolf case becomes a nationwide sensation and Aylin thinks she has found the tale that will inspire the next murder. Çetin, on the other hand, feels they must interrogate Şehrazad.
1×04 – THE RED PRINCESS
Çetin, who stumbles upon big clues during the interrogation, is about to get Şehrazad to confess to her crimes when an unexpected development and a new murder change the course of the entire case.
The Wolf’s Tale seeks to make a judgment about the high number of murders of women and children in Turkey through the eyes of a kindergarten teacher who takes justice into her own hands. The story, which shows the audience that violence against violence will not solve anything after providing them with the satisfaction of the said violence, also calls into question the impact of fairy tales we hear as children on social norms.
