“Goodnight, Boss” is a crime drama and dark comedy series about a murder that occurred in an advertising agency. This show is planned as a mini-series with a closed-ended story, with each episode focusing on a different employee of the said agency and their role in the murder of their boss.

Good Night Boss intends to tell its story in such a way that each employee becomes a suspect, and the mystery of “Who’s the killer?” is enriched with questions such as “Why?” and “How?”.

THE STORY

Mürekkep is the most brilliant creative agency of recent times, which has managed to be nominated for the “Agency of the Year” and “Team of the Year” awards in its 10th year. The creative side of this agency, which is run by a mediatic boss named Giray Karahan, is a civil war. The creatives, consisting of two different teams, are divided between “problematic genius” Demre Gündüz and “artistic director” Berkin Dalaşan, and this rivalry has been going on for almost 10 years. This power struggle between Demre, a troubled but talented man, and Berkin, a fixer who has his own rules and who has reached his limit many times, is actually manipulated by his bosses for the benefit of the company. Because Mürekkep is an agency that runs from success to success with the effect of rivalries and planned conflicts.

Demre, who has spent ten years in this system, resigns in a dramatic way, unable to withstand the “mobbing” and pressures he was subjected to during the golden age of Mürekkep. The next day, our hero comes back to the agency to start the exit procedures and to say goodbye, and when he finds his boss Giray Karahan murdered in his room, he suddenly attracts all suspicions. Our hero, who becomes the prime suspect due to his past in the company, his psychological problems and the fact that he was the last person to see his boss alive, will have to use his intelligence, which he has used to sell detergent, cheese and loans until today, to prove his innocence and solve the murder.

The case, which the two detectives conducting the investigation consider a slam dunk because all the evidence points to our hero, is complicated by the discovery of a second body in the agency. Two murders in the same night at the country’s most popular agency suddenly turn all eyes on the victims’ colleagues, a team of 10 people, including our hero, who are nominated for the “Team of the Year” award, turn into the main suspects in the most media-oriented murder case of the year.
